International Friendship Day Celebration with Slum Kids – 04-08-2019
International Friendship Day is celebrated around the world in order to create awareness and encourage everyone to instill the sense of friendship in every relationship. On this occasion on 4th Aug’19 the students of Interact Club under the guidance of Mr Suman Sarkar visited a slum area nearby the school to celebrate the day with the slum kids.
Students distributed chocolates and biscuits and extended a friendly hand towards them by tying friendship band on their wrist. The smile that came on their faces gave students immense pleasure.

5th International Yoga Day Celebration 21-06-2019
Kerala Public School, Burmamines celebrated 5th International Yoga Day on 21st June’19. Students and teachers participated with great zeal. They performed the asanas as per the directions of a trained Yoga Instructor, Mr. Arpan. The program started with an introductory speech by the Principal, Mrs. Harwinder Kaur who explained the significance of this day. She highlighted the need of Yoga for good health. The celebration commenced with the Prayer recital followed by warm- up asanas. All the asanas were performed sequentially (Pranayam, Taraasna, Ardhchakrasan, Balasan, Padmasan, Sarvasan, Trikonasan,etc). It was summed up with Anulom Vilom and Sankalp. Our heartfelt thanks to our Honorable Prime Minister,Shri Narender Damodar Modiji who initiated and pioneered Yoga and encouraged people of India and the world to practice.
